The organization’s nature is that of public charity formed primarily to fulfill charitable purposes as defined in Section 501© (3) of the current Internal Revenue Code or that of any future applicable additions, replacements, or amendments to that Code. Within that primary purpose, The Leo-Cedarville Foundation intends to preserve the community history, quality of life, and personality through projects, events, and opportunities; to enhance both functional and aesthetic aspects of the community through charitable and publicly visible projects, free events, and generally beneficial efforts to better the community as a whole, and to facilitate efforts and identification of both direct and indirect public contributions to, causes beneficial to the general public, and to nonpolitically aid where possible in building toward the future growth, enjoyment, and overall “hometown”environment of the town and it’s general populace. Therefore the foundation’s concise mission is;” to preserve, to enhance, and to build.”
