Picture this: Riverside Gardens aglow each evening during the holiday season, decked out in larger-than-life holiday lights displays, children enjoying the park in the winter and families visiting local restaurants and open shops before and after visiting the holiday display.
In an effort to draw more families to our parks and share our amazing community asset with more, we are organizing “Illuminating Leo,” a walkthrough holiday light display through Riverside Gardens Park in Leo running each evening mid-November through early January annually.
This is an event hosted by local nonprofit community development organization, the Leo-Cedarville Foundation, in partnership with the Town of Leo-Cedarville and Leo-Cedarville Parks.
Enjoy the event? Help support the ongoing costs of the event by making a small contribution!
Local families and businesses can consider sponsoring a light display to make this event better and better year after year! Each sponsorship will last for the lifespan of the light fixture; the Town of Leo-Cedarville will care for and place the installation each year along with a sign displaying your name or business name. These sponsorships will be run through the Leo-Cedarville Foundation, and so they are tax-deductible!
Light displays purchased outside of the Leo-Cedarville Foundation will not be granted entry into the event. All purchases and installments must be run through this entity.

Consider hosting an evening of “Illuminating Leo: A Holiday Lights Walkthrough Experience” for its 2025 season! “Illuminating Leo” is a FREE holiday lights display that families can enjoy nightly from Nov. 14, 2025 through Jan. 5, 2026.
YOUR organization can reserve a night to host a fundraiser, spread holiday cheer or generally bolster the holiday ambience for an evening of the 2025 “Illuminating Leo” season! All time slots will be for events 6-8PM, with appropriate cleanup and setup time on either end.
This is a FREE opportunity for our local organizations.
PLEASE NOTE: This is intended for nonprofit organizations only. Corporate companies will not be considered. All parties must have proof of insurance, which can be obtained through your organizational insurance or homeowner’s policy. The Town of Leo-Cedarville and Leo-Cedarville Parks reserve the right to refuse any requesting entity based on safety and legal concerns. All activities planned must be approved through relevant parties. There will be no assistance available for your event; bathrooms will not be available at the park.

NOTES: Guests must remain on the sidewalk paths in Riverside Gardens Park while enjoying the light display. Liability falls to the guest for lack of adherence to this policy. Religious displays do not reflect the views or opinions of the hosting entities, but were sponsored by private organizations.
